What a day for me!! I’ve been not like this crazy for very very long time!!! Stella, my ex-colleague from Oriental Sheet Piling (Shanghai) office came to Malaysia with her friend Laura; they arrive at airport about 12 am on 4th October 2009.
After unload luggage bags, we travel to Genting. Crazy enough we start our Genting journey at 2am in the morning (you said siaw boh!!???) It was really cold and the wind is strong. Both Shanghai girls are freezing. We have a short drink session at Coffee Bean and gossip so much about my ex-company. It was a really informative chit chat, in another word, kepoh loh….man also can be kepoh one ok!!..
After finishing with our gossiping we go into Casino for a short round of luck like many others adult. We play until 6am in the morning. It is really good luck for 3 of us as we did not loss any money nor win any money from casino….waste of time….hiazzzz
Another siaw thing after the Genting trip is we rest for about 2 hours and go Klang for Bak Kut Teh. How can you miss this symbolic Malaysian food when you are in Malaysia for the 1st time!!! We reach Klang about 10am and manage to eat where we plan to eat. Actually it is also the one I miss from my visit to this shop (post 7). We order the Bak Kut Teh and eat like our dinner for the day!! Dam full!!!
Next destination is our Malaysia famous landmark, Petronas Twin Tower. W plan to visit the sky bridge but it was really disappointing when we notice the sky bridge is close after all the available tickets been distributed out in the morning since 830am.
They do a short shopping spring in KLCC and obviously everyone is tired after no sleep since last midnight.
Both girls bought something for themselves and I almost fall asleep in burger king after a long stretch morning without sleep. Hahaha
We went to Nailis’s place in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. It serves a lot of Malaysia typical food. I want them to try as many as possible on Malaysia food: Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng and etc. I ordered 8 dishes on that night and make sure they had tried everything possible to have a satisfied dinner.
I also order ABC and request some chili belachan for them to try. Laura had a good experience how “hot” our food can be…Hope they like it. We had a great dinner and great chat as well. Eat and talk until 10pm ++ before ending the day.
What a crazy day for me but yet it is really happy to see a far far friend come over for meet up. I have been talking about this visit to Stella since long long time but when she is coming, I need to travel to Tehran for work and cannot be tour guide for her…. I am so sorry, Ms, Stella!!
Take care my friend and hope to meet up with you again in Shanghai.
朋友,保重!!
